Quarter-pint Speaks...

This One, has been a lot of fun lately...even despite the cough and sore throat he's been fighting. He's been saying some awesome things the past few days, and I wanted to make sure I recorded them before I forget.

Quarter-pint was being especially adorable a few days ago, when I asked him:

"When did you get so big?"

"Everyday" was his obvious response-with the usual twinkle in his eye.

Then I asked him:

"When did you get so cute?"

"Umm, October." He stated simply, still smiling.

Tonight when we were talking after I tucked the boys to bed, Quarter-pint suddenly said:

"I used to be funny...but now I'm silly."

"What's the difference between funny and silly?"

"I don't know, but everybody thinks I'm al-harry-ious." (hilarious)

Old Soul...

This one just has the look of an old soul. Sometimes I look at him and think

"Are you 80, or just 18 months???"

He's a tease and a lot of fun--when he's NOT throwing a

fit or a tantrum. He can be super sweet and is very curious. He's a climber...we're just waiting for him to fall off something and get seriously hurt (since the head-first fall from the rocking chair didn't seem to phase him too much, I'm a little worried about what WILL actually hurt him!) He adores his brothers and gets really excited when they come home from school. He's definitely just under 18 months old; but sometimes, when you look into his little blue eyes, you get a glimpse of an old man in a tiny body.

We Have A Problem...

...And to my knowledge, it has NOTHING to do with the boys!

The hinges just popped off (one at a time-thankfully because the first one went while the oven was HOT). Now, I've been patiently waiting for the repair man to call us back saying the new hinges have come in so I can use my oven again...it's been almost a week...still waiting...
